Zajecar District is On the East of Serbia. It consists of:

Sokobanja Municipality, town Sokobanja
Its population is of 158.131 people. The seat of this District is
zajecar.
Felix Romuliana (Galerie’s Palace) is in Gamzigrad, and it was the
seat of Roman Imperator Gaj Valerie Maximilian, during the end of
III century AD and the beginning of the 4th century AD. According to
discovered material, Gamzigrad is classified into most
representative Roman Cities on Balkan. There were found many
historical things such as jewelry, money, tools, and weapons as a
testimony of great civilization which existed in this region.
Economy development of Zajecar Municipality consists of handicraft
production and half-industry production of agricultural products and
exploitation of mineral wealth.
